Dr. Boustani earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Saint Joseph Dental School in 2000. He then furthered his education at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with Honors, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontology, and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. In 2008, he achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology, a mark of distinction recognizing his advanced accomplishments in the field.

Focusing exclusively on periodontics, Dr. Boustani specializes in diagnosing, preventing, and treating periodontal disease, as well as performing implant dentistry. He is skilled in advanced surgical techniques, including digital and 3D-guided implant surgery and cutting-edge periodontal regeneration. He continually pursues continuing education both nationally and internationally to stay at the forefront of his specialty.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Boustani is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontology at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. There, he plays a pivotal role in training and mentoring future dental professionals. His reputation for excellence is well-established, having been honored with the Top Dentist award by Boston Magazine for his exceptional contributions to patient care.

Dr. Boustani’s clinical skills include connective tissue grafting, soft tissue management in the esthetic zone, full-mouth rehabilitation with implant-supported fixed restorations, All-on-X solutions, lateral sinus lifts, and guided bone regeneration. He integrates both traditional methods and innovative techniques, such as platelet-rich growth factors and zirconia implants, to achieve outstanding results in complex implant cases.

In 1987, I moved to Rhode Island to start my career as a periodontist. At that time, I was the first female periodontist in the state. After working in many other offices, I decided to open my own private periodontal practice from scratch in 1990. Over the past 35 years, I have put together an office where our commitment has always been to go above and beyond in addressing your periodontal and implant needs while maintaining exceptional communication and coordination with your general dentist. 

For the past few years, I have been searching diligently for the right person to take over my practice as retirement age snuck up on me. I was delighted to meet Dr. Gabriel Boustani who I felt was the right fit for my practice. Dr. Boustani has been in both private practice since 2006 and teaches at Boston University Dental School. He is passionate about periodontics and dental implant dentistry and is bringing his high level of care to our office in the Ocean State. After practicing for 19 years, his dedication to exceptional patient care mirrors our own. 

After 35 years of running a unique, attention to detail, and caring office, it is time for me to move on. I leave you in the very competent hands of Dr. Boustani. It has been my honor and pleasure to have served your needs for many decades and I thank you for being loyal patients for many, many years.
